About the CEO & Owner John O. Peace

After leaving the Military in August 1994 John, enrolled in school at Lincoln Technical Institute, in Landover Maryland in September 1994. He started working as a mechanic in Washington, DC at Chandlers Auto Repair in November 1994 while attending Lincoln Technical Institute it was at that point where he developed the desire to start his own business.

John started his journey working with Ford’s in April 1995 at Ourisman World of Ford, in Alexandria, VA. John graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute with 3 ASE certifications in 1995. In 1999 he became an ASE Master Technician then 2000 he was the only African American Senior Master Ford Technician in the Washington DC, metropolitan area. John has worked for several Ford dealerships in the Washington, DC metropolitan area he has more than 20 years of experience and he specializes in Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles.

John moved to Clinton, Maryland in May 2010 and at that point that is when he began developing his strategy to open his own Auto Repair Shop. The name Ford Masters was given to John by his customers because they all kept calling him the Master, the Ford Master… That name resonated with him and that is what he named the business.

Our local business was founded in January 2013 as a result of huge efforts and continued dedication. Ford Masters Auto Repair started as a small shop in our garage at home where we quickly outgrew. In July 2016 Ford Masters Auto repair open the doors to our new building in Clinton, Maryland. Today, Ford Masters Auto Repair offers general auto repair services, oil change, and fluid top offs, engine repair services, transmission & suspension services, and much more.
